TMCA/TMCCP Advanced Institute: Maximizing Your Leadership Ability

This seminar will focus on fine-tuning leadership abilities, mindsets, strategies, and processes to work towards achieving attendees' professional goals. Other topics will include: emotional intelligence, communication behavior styles, and managing change.

This event also features the TMCA Annual Banquet and the TMCA Annual Business Meeting.

Event Topics

The Emotionally Intelligent Leader 
In this session we will introduce the overall concept of Emotional Intelligence and begin to breakdown the 5 key elements of becoming an Emotionally Intelligent Leader.

Understanding Communication Behavior Styles
In this session we will explore the various ways in which people communicate. Exploring the 2 main reasons why people communicate the way they do and how to style flex to understand and connect with others in a genuine and meaningful manner.

Becoming a Leader of Change
In this session we will discuss change, the various elements of change and most importantly, how to lead yourself and others through a process of awareness and growth.

Putting a Personal Plan of Action in Place
In this session we will discuss and walk through the key elements a person should have in place to create a plan for growth and how to implement the plan.


 Planning Your Attendance

Thursday: 8:00 a.m.--3:30 p.m. (11:30 TMCA Business Meeting; 12:00 Luncheon)
Friday: 8:00 a.m.--3:00 p.m. (12:00 Luncheon)

Event registration fees include Thursday and Friday breakfasts, Thursday and Friday luncheons, and the Thursday evening banquet, as well as coffee/beverage services throughout the seminar.

Speaker Jon Stigliano

Jon StiglianoJon M. Stigliano is President and Founder of Strategic Solutions Group, an Organizational Development firm based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Over the past 24 years he has consulted with thousands of organizations and individuals.  Clients range in scope from small privately held organizations to publicly traded corporations in a wide variety of industries from all areas of the United States.

Strategic Solutions Group has developed a strong reputation for helping their clients achieve “a culture of success” by helping organizations “hire, train and lead their organization by design”. The process is to instill a culture that develops leaders who in turn will develop a team of leaders.

Jon is a former Regional Manager for one of the largest commercial real estate firms on the West Coast and Vice President of Development for an international consulting firm. In addition, he is a collegiate basketball referee at the Division I level. He is also the Coordinator of Officials for the Lone Star Conference, the largest Division II athletic conference in the country.
