The “Special Topics in Texas Seminar” will cover topics of particular interest to public officials in Texas.  Due to the size, diversity, and structure of municipal governments in our state, Texas municipal leaders encounter an array of responsibilities that are unique. 

Topics for this seminar will include:

Meeting Information

• Attendees are expected to be in the meeting 15 minutes early for roll call each day and sign in to Zoom using their full name. See you at 7:45am Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!
• Questions to the speakers can be placed in the chat.
• Be present with your camera on.
  You are required to have your camera on and be seen for the duration of the seminar to receive certification and recertification credit (TMCCP students). You will NOT receive credit otherwise.
• Brief interruptions are acceptable.
• Keeping in mind that you will be seen on camera, please maintain a professional decorum during the seminar.
• TMCCP enrollees are expected to adhere to our standards of academic conduct.
• This seminar will NOT be available to watch on-demand after the seminar.

Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to send a substitute.
If you cannot send a substitute, a refund or transfer to a subsequent seminar (less a $25 processing fee) will be honored if written cancellation is received by June 7, 2023.
No refunds can be honored after that date. Allow 2-4 weeks to process refunds. Email [email protected] to request cancellation.
